Inspired by the Pascal Mystery, this poem recaptures the passion, death and resurrection of the man-God who was virtually unknown in his days, who walked the streets and climbed palace stairs barefooted, who was denied more than once, who was lashed not only by the fury of the whip but also by the rancor of tongues, who was crucified but finally resurrected to save his kind and that of God.
